Loc Dawgs formed in 2019 when lead singer and guitarist Christian Pelonis decided to record a batch of songs with absolutely no plans in mind, not knowing if the songs would even see the light of day. When the songs were all finished, the decision was made to put a band together. Long time friend and bandmate Ben Badillo joined in 2019 soon after recording was done and has been a crucial part in the Loc Dawgs sound and energy. After only playing a handful of shows before the pandemic, Loc Dawgs start to gain a following online via Instagram and Spotify with the release of their first single “Price on my Head” reaching over 100k streams on Spotify. Throughout the pandemic, a lineup change was made and Tyler Kelly was thrown into the mix holding down the bass and backup vocals. Adding Tyler to the band brought Loc Dawgs back to life after over a year of not playing together. Combing elements of Punk, Grunge, Rock, and Metal Loc Dawgs have a passion for heavy riffs and loud amps that creates a unique and melodic sound that will captivate you whether you’re sitting in your car or stage diving at one of their shows.
